As an VW subsidiary, Cariad is delivering software for the control units of VWcars. The FoD (Functions on demand) provides the possibility to activateadditional functions in the car after sale. Activating functions after sales enablesto generate additional income, increases the value of the car and increases thecomfort for the driver.
